Aspiring VR/AR/XR Software Developer
Hello, my name is Peter Tan.
I am currently a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Epigraph.
In December 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in
Biology with a concentration in Genetics.
With an aim for medical school, I got a job as a Forensic Scientist at
Quest Diagnostics in an attempt to bolster
my resume and get some real lab experience. After working there for
two years and a half, I began a journey of self-rediscovery,
during which I realized my true passion has always been with
technology. So I signed up for a coding bootcamp and switched to the
field
of Computer Software.
My dream is to contribute in making Full Dive Virtual Reality an
applicable commercial
product instead of a laboratory dream project, help scaling it into
something that the everyday
consumer can utilize to enrich their lives, enable the disabled and
expand the imagination of people
everywhere. Additionally, I want to create innovative, interactive and
intuitive AR tools in order to make AR more available to everyone.
Click on the Project Links below to see some of my earlier projects (updates coming soon):
